Steps Of Work

The marina has 525 permanent berths and radiates luxury and cosiness. The marina is distinguished with a blue flag and green pennant, two international environmental marks. Every comfort has been thought of, such as water, electricity and a side jetty for all berths. There are also comfortable sanitary facilities at the marina, under the harbor office and in a floating pavilion in the Oosthaven.

The Request

The marina sought a solution for the floating sanitary pavilion in Oosthaven. The existing coated floor didn't meet requirements, appearing unkempt and hard to clean. After thorough assessment, we advised a water- and liquid-tight, cleanable coating with decorative qualities.

Phasing

We began by sanding and roughening the floor for adhesion. After thorough cleaning, MarrFill Floorprimer EC was applied. Then MarrFill Floorcoat PU, resistant to mechanical and chemical loads, was layered, followed by MarrFill PU Finish for durability and easy cleaning.

Completion

The outcome is a floor meeting aesthetic and practical standards, maintained by flakes for a consistent appearance. Coating extends above the plinth, ensuring no water accumulation and easy cleaning. We tailor coatings to diverse floor needs; seek advice for tailored solutions.
