The Request

Gulf West Company Ltd., headquartered in Jeddah, faces the challenge of refrigerating goods in Saudi Arabia's scorching desert climate. The introduction of Adgreencoat sparked their interest in reducing energy consumption by mitigating solar heat.

Phasing

At Gulf West, the metal roof underwent a rigorous cleaning process to eliminate sand, loose parts, and rust spots. ProFill Metal Coat was applied to treat the screws and rust spots, followed by two layers of Adgreencoat using an airless sprayer, drying rapidly in the warm environment.

Completion

Post-project, data on Adgreencoat's impact is gathered at three sites. Data loggers track roof and interior temperatures, while meter readings monitor energy consumption. This comprehensive approach aims to quantify the coating's effectiveness and energy savings.
