The Request

With over a century of experience in shellfish cultivation, The Oesterij constructed a new oyster shed in February. Seeking protection from seawater splashing during rinsing, they tasked Ribbstyle with safeguarding the walls against chemical erosion and deterioration.

Phasing

Ensure dry substrate; verify moisture content with meter, ensuring below 4%. Pre-sealed seams allow immediate sanding. Apply CorrFill Primer PA with roller, then RibbFill Control Coat with sprayer. After drying, apply two layers of CorrFill Limbercoat for chemical resistance.

Delivery

The outcome is a vapor-tight, hygienic wall, resistant to seawater and cleaning agents. Preventing concrete absorption of dirt or moisture, it maintains appearance. Furthermore, it safeguards the underlying structure against corrosion, ensuring long-term durability and structural integrity of the wall.
