Product Description

ProFill Metal Coat Plus is a water-based, one-component, anti-corrosion product based on styrene-acrylic copolymers and modified zink phosphate. This coating is a perfect solution for objects that require the highest possible protection such as bridges, sheet pile profiles and outside walls of storage tanks. It can be used as a primer and as a final layer.

Application

Easy to apply with roller, brush or airless-spraying machine (nozzle opening 013 – 015). When spraying, the product can be diluted with up to 3% water. ProFill Metal Coat Plus should be applied in at least two layers. Clean tools with water after use.

Surface Preparation

Pre-treatment Importance

The lifespan of a coating on iron or steel surfaces greatly relies on the pre-treatment of the surface.

De-rusting Recommendation

Prior to applying ProFill Metal Coat Plus, it’s advisable to de-rust the surface following standard Sa2 or St2.

Surface Condition Requirements

Additionally, the surface must be dry, grease-free, and free of dust before applying ProFill Metal Coat Plus.

Sustainability & Storage

ProFill Metal Coat Plus has a shelf life of 12 months, provided that opened buckets are properly closed and stored frost-free, not in direct sunlight, between 5°C and 25°C.
